Single with a wonderful boyfriend, no children, and one cat. Currently an assistant coach with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Team in Training.

Definitely not my best marathon. The temps were in the 40s at the start and ended up in the high 60s by the finish. The course was almost too flat, which made it hard to vary my strides during the race. I only had 12 days of recovery after finishing the Dublin Marathon and beginning training for this one. My legs did not feel recovered and joints were quite achy. On top of that, winter weather came and running in the snow (even with Yaktrax) made it even more difficult. So, I opted to save what I had and skipped a lot of my training runs. Lesson learned and so I think it would be best not to run a summer marathon like I had planned. I'll concentrate on getting my half-marathon times faster this summer and will return (stronger I hope) this fall fully rested and recovered from the last twelve months of abuse.
